About
Medically Indicated Preterm deliveries are necessary to decrease the risk of stillbirth in high-risk pregnancies. There are many common indications for indicated delivery, and identifying these risk factors and the associated stillbirth rate is paramount to help practitioners plan delivery and antenatal surveillance to appropriately plan for a possible early intervention. We will discuss indications for early delivery, reasons to initiate antenatal surveillance and review literature that has helped to guide the recommendations regarding early delivery and surveillance.

Faculty
Corinna Muller, DO, FACOOG (Dist), MBA

Thomas Dardarian, DO

Dr. Muller was born and raised in Alaska, and currently practices in Anchorage, Alaska. She attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and received a BA in Music (Flute Performance) and BS in Biological Sciences. She graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Memorial Hospital (York, PA) OB/GYN Residency and Geisinger Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship. She became dual board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and has practiced in community and academic teaching hospitals as core faculty before moving back to Alaska in 2018 where she founded a private medical practice, Aurora Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Muller graduated from the Physician Coaching Institute in 2020 and is the founder of LadyDOx Physician Coaching & Consulting, LLC. Starting her own practice found her interested in learning more about the technicalities of business so she went back to school and earned her MBA through the University of Alaska in 2021. Her work as a coach with LadyDOx helps physicians foster autonomy and resilience in the field of medicine while leading clients through the process of starting their own medical practices and businesses. She also inspires colleagues in the field of medicine by promoting creative ways to enhance career satisfaction with her podcast, Right Brain Rounds.
