About
Surgical complications are inevitable. It is best practice to know and learn how to stratify risk, understanding anatomy and prevention. However, in the best of hands, complications still arise. The purpose of this talk is to provide information on how to identify risk, understand anatomy that we are not comfortable with, recognizing and checking for potential issues. In addition, we will learn how problems are fixed, post-operative follow-up and long-term affect.

Dr. Lim grew up in New York city. He completed his undergrad & graduated from the State University of New York Binghamton with a Bachelor of Science and a Master's in biological science. He attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine NYIT. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. He practiced for a few years as faculty at Wyckoff Hospital and private practice before pursuing fellowship training. Dr Lim completed his gynecologic oncology fellowship at WellSpan Health York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.
Currently, he is the division director for gynecology oncology and also the vice president of medical staff at WellSpan Health York Hospital

- Select techniques to minimize complication risk
- Describe management and follow-up strategies of post-op complications
