Abstract
Approximately 80% of women experience physical and/or psychological symptoms around menopause. Menopause can substantially affect mental health, which is underappreciated by many healthcare providers (HCPs) who attribute symptoms to stress, particularly for patients in perimenopause. Join Drs. Mary Jane Minkin, Mache Seibel, and Verna Brooks McKenzie who present cases of women going through the stages of menopause. The faculty summarize risk factors for menopause-related depression and examine treatment options and considerations.
