Background & Need
This education focuses on equipping physicians and healthcare professional teams involved in the management of older patients (50 to 59 years old having a medical condition that increases their risk for severe RSV outcomes and those 60 to 74 years of age and older who are at increased risk of severe RSV disease) with the awareness, knowledge, and tools needed to implement recommendations on the FDA-approved and CDC-recommended prevention strategies of RSV in older adults in their day-to-day practices.
Special outreach will focus on those healthcare professionals working in medically underserved and under-immunized populations, including those in rural and urban settings.
