Prelude to Residency (P2R) is a structured, evidence-based program built only for osteopathic OB/GYN applicants. It gives you the knowledge, tools, and preparation the Match process expects. No one teaches this directly.
P2R rests on intentional, strategic preparation. It draws on spaced retrieval and professional identity formation, two neuroscience-backed methods that help you internalize what you learn rather than skim past it.
It is free. It is self-paced. And it is built for you.
OB/GYN applicants
Osteopathic medical students who want a stronger position in the OB/GYN Match and a head start over their peers on day one.
Mentors and advisors
Faculty and advisors who guide students through the OB/GYN application and want one reliable resource to recommend.
Residency programs
Programs that want PGY-1s who arrive ready to contribute, not only ready to start.
P2R works on a tablet or mobile device. It works best on a laptop or desktop computer.

✓
Manage time by deciding better rather than doing more
✓
Receive and use feedback without shutting down, a core skill in a training environment built on evaluation

Section 3
Prep for Virtual Interviews for OB/GYN Residencies
The interview is your one chance to be a person, not a file. This section prepares you for every part of the virtual interview, from your first answer to your final question, and from your setup to how you appear on screen.
You will learn how to
✓
Answer "Tell me about yourself" the way a program director wants to hear it
✓
Prepare for the 25 most common OB/GYN residency interview questions, with sample answers and what interviewers listen for
✓
Ask questions that signal real thought about fit, culture, and your own priorities
✓
Avoid the behaviors that cost applicants in virtual interviews, the subtle ones no one mentions until after
✓
Set up your camera, lighting, background, and appearance so your technical setup never works against you
