Conference Learning Objectives

Those participating in this activity will receive information that allows them to:

Evaluate current diagnostic and therapeutic options for common illnesses seen in women's health;

Identify new and clinically relevant evidence-based management and treatments, using the most up-to-date clinical and scientific information;

Assess ways to ensure individualized, patient-centered women's healthcare is consistently provided;

Develop strategies to improve patient safety and health outcomes;

Apply Osteopathic principles to the provision of women's healthcare; and

Collaborate with peers and colleagues on OB-GYN practice issues.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) recognizes activities approved for Category 1-A credit through the AOA as providing advanced practice CE content hours for applicants seeking renewal through continuing education credit.

The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) recognizes activities approved for Category 1-A credit through the AOA as Regular Category 1 CME for national certification maintenance. All Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) participating in this activity will receive a certificate of completion commensurate with their participation. ACOOG recommends that NPs and PAs check with their certification or licensing authority to confirm credit reciprocity.

The Certificate Maintenance Program of the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ to satisfy its contact hours requirement.
