About
Female sexual dysfunction affects 40-45% of women globally, creating a significant health burden that remains largely hidden in clinical practice. Despite this high prevalence, only 12% of affected women discuss sexual health concerns with their physicians, and fewer than 20% of physicians routinely screen for these conditions during visits. The interconnected symptoms profoundly impact quality of life and relationships, yet 80% of physicians report discomfort addressing sexual health topics and 65% lack confidence in treatment approaches. This webinar bridges the critical gap between patient need and clinical competency by describing evidence-based assessment and management strategies through the biopsychosocial model, equipping gynecologists with practical tools to recognize symptoms, identify root causes, and implement both pharmacological and behavioral interventions for women experiencing sexual dysfunction.
